DIRECTIONS: From the Mass Turnpike (Route 90) take = exit 4 to=20 Route 91 North. Then from Route 91 heading north, take exit 15, then = turn left=20 onto Lower Westfield Road and right onto Homestead Avenue. Continue = through the=20 next set of lights and shortly you will see Holyoke Community College. =
From=20 Route 91 heading south, take exit 16. Then turn right onto Cherry = Street, and an=20 immediate left onto Homestead Avenue (Route 202 South/West).

PARKING: Enter the campus from = Homestead=20 Avenue, and then turn left. Park in Lot E at the bottom of the hill. = When coming=20 down the hill you will see the KITTREDGE= =20 CENTER. After parking, head toward the Kittredge Center, enter = this DOOR and go=20 upstairs. REGISTRATION: At site from 8:30a.m. to = 9:00a.m.=20 Entries after 9:30am, but before the second round, will receive a = 1/2-point bye=20 or be paired if possible.
ROUND TIMES: Round one starts at = 9:30a.m..=20 Later Rounds will be scheduled as soon as possible.
FORMAT: 4 = Round=20 Swiss System U.S.Chess Federation Rated
TIME CONTROL: = game/45=20
SECTIONS: Four--grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 =
PRIZES:=20 Trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each section, and 1st and 2nd = place=20 Unrated in section 10-12.
Bring the following: A chess set = and chess=20 clock if you have them, and a bagged lunch.
RULES: U.S.C.F. = rules=20 will be in effect.
TIEBREAKS: U.S.C.F. tiebreak systems will = be used=20 per Rule 34E and 34G of the U.S. Chess Official Rules of Chess.=20
ENTRY FEE: $6.00 by mail, $7.00 at the door.=20
U.S.CHESS FEDERATION MEMBERSHIP: Required for Grades = K-9.=20 Not required for High School team members. Add one of the following to = become=20 a member of the U.S. Chess Federation.
Must be Under age 25 = at the=20 beginning of each membership year whether paying one or multiple = years.=20
Regular Young Adult: 1 year $24, 2 years $43, 3 years $61. = Includes=20 only online access to Chess Life.
