March 16th 2014: Nakul is 2014 CT 3rd grade champion!


March 15th 2014: Simsbury Middle School Henry James is CT State K-8 Chess Champion for the 3rd year in a row. This year's team from left to right Nick, Josh (topscorer with 3/5), Seth, Samantha, Justin, Sean, and Mr Bruce Swan, the tournament director.


Feb 23rd 2014: Samantha and Nakul brought home an impressive team trophy from a chess tournament at UConn. In the top right corner Mr Tom Hartmayer, chess organizer at UConn (photo by Ramaswamy).
