GM Nicolas Checa wins second consecutive Connecticut State Championship.

View 2022 State Championship DGT BROADCAST here. Round 1 starts at 9:30 AM. Defending Connecticut Champion and former National High School Champion GM Nico Checa, eight time Connecticut Champion FM Richard Bauer, six consecutive time Connecticut Champion GM Sergey Kudrin, three time Connecticut High School Champion NM Zachary Tanenbaum and one of the fastest rising Connecticut junior players NM Nathanial Moor are some of the participants playing in the broadcast, directed by three time former Connectcut Champion STD NM Ian Harris with the aid of floor directors NM Mikhail Koganov and former Connecticut Champion NM Arslan Otchiyev.
